一般にアナウンサーと呼ばれる職業はテレビやラジオなどの放送局に所属する会社員のイメージが強いでしょう。

アナウンサーは大きく分けて二つに大別されます。

ひとつが先の挙げた放送局に所属する会社員である局アナ。
もうひとつは芸能事務所に所属したりフリーランスで活動をするフリーアナウンサー。

メディアで活躍するアナウンサーはこのどちらかになるはずです。

アナウンサーは非常に境界線が曖昧で、タレントなのか一般人なのか、常に物議を醸しています。

2016年は週刊誌が芸能界を脅かした年になりました。文春砲が炸裂するや否や、不倫や不祥事は金になると踏んだ他誌がプライバシーなどお構いなしにスクープ狙い。アナウンサーも同様に砲撃の餌食となったのです。こんな時に出てくる話題が「アナウンサーはタレントなのか」。微妙な立ち位置の彼らはタレントなのか、少し考えてみましょう。

ただし無数に存在しているので当サイトで取り上げたフリーアナのみをリストアップします。

局アナ経験がないフリーアナウンサーをアナウンサーと呼ぶのか、色々疑問はあるし定義も定かではありません。

ここでは所属事務所やタレント自身、出演番組などが肩書として「フリーアナウンサー」「フリーキャスター」または「お天気キャスター」を用いているタレントを局アナ経験なしのフリーアナウンサーとして取り上げます。

とはいえ、あまりガチガチに縛りを設けないで臨機応変にピックアップする予定です。
